Donna Anne Brummett

Donna Anne Brummett, 71, of Corinth, KY, died Saturday August 27, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.  Born Saturday November 18, 1950 in Cincinnati, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Mildred Mary Magdalene Hammer Roell.

On May 8, 1982, she was united in marriage to Oliver Solomon Brummett; he preceded her in death on August 29, 2018.  She will long be remembered for her downhome cooking skills; she had a special palate for English/German foods.  With her welcoming spirit she always had an open-door policy in her home; she never met a stranger and frequently took in what others would refer to as “misfits and outcasts”, always reaching out to them and making breakfast for any of them.

She leaves to carry on her legacy, one daughter: Rosie (Willie) Brummett-Campbell of Williamstown; one son: James Ambrose Brummett of Corinth and two brothers: William “Bill” (Alisha) Roell and Jerome “Jerry” (Nancy) Roell, both from Taylor Mill. Six grandchildren also survive: Lei-anne Marie Brummett, Waylon James Brummett, Jacob Michael Cheeks, Samiel Jean Anne Brummett, Charlotte Lee Brummett and Crystal Renee Breeden, along with two step-daughters and several step-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Roell.

Visitation will be Friday September 2, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m.at Stanley Funeral Homes in Williamstown. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 with an arrival time of 2 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery – North, where she will be laid to rest with her late husband.
