Edwina "Edna" Turner Adams

Edwina "Edna" Turner Adams was born May 25, 1938 in Maysville, KY and passed away October 19, 2022 in Erlanger, Kentucky at the age of 84.  She was the daughter of the late Albolenzo and Agnes Elizabeth Gibbins Carmichael.

Edna was a manager and chef at Chef Henry's Restaurant for over 25 years as well as a manager for Triangle Paper Bag Co. for 12 years.  She touched countless lives in the Grant County area as a Home Baby Sitter for over 25 years.  Edna was also a member of Sherman Church of Christ in Dry Ridge.

She was preceded in death by 2 husbands: Ed Turner and Leroy Adams. She was also preceded in death by a son: Thomas Dearing; a daughter: Helen Valentine; a stepson: Darrell Lee Adams 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Edna is survived by 5 sons: Timmy Mason of Dry Ridge, Mikey Dearing (Tammy) of Walton, David Turner (Tracy) of Morehead, Terry Turner (Toni) of Chicago, IL and Donald Swartz (Elizabeth) of Vienna, VA; 3 daughters: Brenda Foltz (Mike) of Burlington, Libby Burk (Rick) of Dry Ridge and Cindy Coleman  (Ray) of Williamstown; 2 stepdaughters: Rosie White (Jerry) of Casselberry, FL and Judy Morris of Crittenden; 32 Grandchildren; 65 Great Grandchildren; and 20 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.  Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 PM, Sunday, at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the Williamstown Cemetery.
