Fred Mark Stanton

Fred Mark Stanton, 88, of Williamstown, KY died Wednesday November 11, 2020 at his residence. Born on February 27, 1932 in Cawood, KY, he was the son of the late William and Sudie Fields Stanton.

Fred was united in marriage to the former Mary Jane“Chuck” Hughes; she preceded him in death. He was an OTR truck driver and a member of the local Teamster Union. After retiring as a truck driver he worked at Meijer's for many years. He loved playing guitar and doing landscaping work.  He was a member of the Community Family Church in Independence, KY. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a step-son, Taylor Farley, Jr., six brothers, Frank Stanton, Robert Stanton, Samuel Stanton, Luke Stanton, Hubert Stanton, Fielding Stanton and one sister, Bessie Stanton.

Survivors include two sons: Freddy Ray Stanton of New Hampshire, Jonathan Mark Stanton; one daughter: Tina Stanton of Williamstown, KY; two brothers: Thomas Lee Stanton of Cincinnati, OH, Henry Stanton of Alexandria, KY and one sister: Helen Hager of Cincinnati, OH; along with eight grandchildren: Tristan Pendergrass, Nathanial Bryan, Zachary Bryan, Justin Bryan, Heather Watson, Taylor Farley III, Johanna Krumer, and Katherine Farley.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday November 17th at Williamstown Cemetery  at 11:00 a.m.
