Harold "Gene" Adams

Mr. Harold "Gene" Adams, a Berry, KY resident, surrounded by his loving family, peacefully passed at his home on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at the age of 86.  He was the husband of Patricia B. Adams.

On December 5, 1937, Gene was born in Corinth, KY to the late Harold Adams and Catherine Works Adams.  In 1958, Gene married his true love, Patricia Bailey. From this union, was born three children, Michael (Joy) Adams, Kimberly Adams and the late Bobby Adams.  Gene is also survived by one brother, Jerry (Judy) Adams, one sister Judy Adams, five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. In addition to his son Bobby, Gene was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Billy Adams, and sister, Linda Switzer.

Gene was a truck driver and farmer most of his life.  He enjoyed driving trucks, pulling horses, western movies, raising cattle and with his outgoing personality he never met a stranger.  He was often seen visiting neighbors and taking short trips with his two favorite dogs, Willow and Max.

Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2024 from 11am-1pm at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth, KY.  Funeral services will follow at 1pm.  Burial will be at the Corinth IOOF cemetery.  Pastor Dennis Jackson will be officiating.
