Jackielean Saylor Henry

Jackielean Saylor Henry of Williamstown, KY was born Tuesday, September 21, 1943 in Harlan County, KY and died Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 79 years.

She was the daughter of the late Murl and Rosie Hall Saylor. She was retired from manufacturing and later in life as a nurse’s aide. On November 20, 1965 she married Roy Henry Jr., the love of her life for 58 years.

She loved to sew, quilt, and craft, being active with the local sewing group at the county extension office. She also had a love for cooking and enjoyed making her Christmas cookies with her dear friend Sandy. She loved living her life to serve her Lord with all her heart.  She was full of faith and positive in her trust in God, this gave her comfort that she would again see her son, Roy Neal Henry, that preceded her in death.

Surviving is her husband, Roy Henry Jr. of Williamstown; a brother, Neal Wayne Saylor of Mt. Washington, KY; special friend, Sandy Wetmore of Cincinnati, OH; and several nieces, nephews along with a host of friends and neighbors that all loved Jackie.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Monday, July 31, 2023 at the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge, KY followed by burial in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will also be Monday, 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home.
