James “Jimmy” Michael Charles , 24, passed away Thursday October 25, 2018 at University of Louisville Medical Center. Born May 9, 1994 in Florence, KY; he was the son of Cyndi Walters Charles and James Melvin Charles.
Jimmy had many charming, positive characteristics that made him quite a unique individual; these qualities caused him to be endeared by everyone that knew him. He was “The Rock” of the family, the shoulder that anyone could lean on; he had a smile that lit up any dark room. His sincere love and caring personality provided an atmosphere that made everyone feel better, no matter what a person might be going through in life. He was employed as a foreman with Aqua Lock in Louisville. He was actively involved in the ministry of the Healing Place in Louisville.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy is survived by two brothers: Dylan (Jessica) Charles of Troy, OH, Jesse James Charles of Somerset, KY; one sister: Shauna Kay Charles of Corinth, KY, his maternal grandparents: Brenda and Bob Walters of Troy, OH, a nephew: Jace Robert Charles of Troy, OH; and uncles: Roger Joe Walters of Vandalia, OH and Marcus Brewer of Tipp City, OH. Numerous other aunts and uncles also survive. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Daphne and James Charles.
A memorial service will be held Saturday Nov. 3, 2018 at Stanley Funeral Homes, Williamstown location at 3:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m.
