Jeffrey Scott Taylor , 55, a resident of Walton, KY, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday July 28, 2019 at his residence. Born Friday February 14, 1964, he was the son of Estil Taylor and the late Phyllis Jean Southern Taylor.
Before becoming disabled, Jeff worked as an OTR truck driver for Ryder Freight. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed collecting knives and coins, classical rock music and playing his guitar and drums, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family.
Survivors include his father, Estil Taylor of Florence, KY; three daughters: Ashlie (Steve) Collins of England, Amber (Michael) Myre of Louisville, KY, Emily Taylor of Walton, KY; three brothers: Rick (Cheryl) Taylor of Petersburg, KY, Lee Taylor of North Vernon, IN, Steve (Sue) Taylor of Sparta, KY; two sisters: Tammi (Michael) Dearing of Walton, KY, Kelli (Scott) Williams; his fiance’: Kimberly Ulrich of Walton, KY, his step-mother: Wanda Baker Taylor of Walton, KY, a step-daughter: Jessica Ulrich (Stephen Riddle) of Walton, KY and a step-son: Isaiah Ulrich of Warsaw, KY. Five grandchildren also survive: Preslee Myre, Michael Myre, Jr., Sebastian Collins, Maxwell Collins and Sophie-Maree Collins. He was preceded in death by his wife: Tonya Renee Wiseman Taylor on June 23, 2006, his mother: Jean Taylor and two sisters: Terry Wright and Francis Wright.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 2, 2019 at Stanley Funeral Homes (Williamstown location) at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 and go until the time of the services.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jeff’s memory toward the funeral expenses. Stanley Funeral Homes have been entrusted with his arrangements.
