John Preston Draper, Jr.

John Preston Draper Jr., age 60 of Williamstown KY, peacefully entered eternal life on January 10, 2021.

Johnny was born to the late John Preston Draper, Sr. and survived by his beloved mother, Norma Jean Jeter Draper.

Johnny was a graduate of Williamstown High School, Class of 1978 and was actively involved in Marching and Concert Band and later attended the University of Kentucky.  Johnny was an amazing cook and lover of all things outdoor, especially gardening and fishing and generously shared his harvest.  His love for water was second to none.  He spent much time on Williamstown Lake and the ocean shore.  Johnny was kind, loving, and thoughtful.  His quick wit and servant’s heart will be fondly remembered.

Survived by his three sisters, Cindy Barclay (Clay) of Louisville KY, Mary Ann Simpson of Williamstown KY, and Diane Butler of Middletown OH, along with twenty nieces and nephews.  Johnny cared deeply for his large family of aunts, uncles, and cousins and will remain forever in their hearts.

It is our wish to keep our loved ones healthy and safe during this time.  A private celebration of Johnny’s life will be held by immediate family at Williamstown Christian Church Saturday, January 16 ^th at 11am.
