Mr. Kenneth "Ken" L. Baumgartner, a Verona resident, passed away in Erlanger, KY on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the age of 62. He was the husband of Stephany Hasekoester Baumgartner.
Ken was born on January 31, 1958 to Catherine Meyer Baumgartner and the late Albert Baumgartner. When Ken was 19 years old, he met the love of his life, Stephany and married her 5 years later. Ken was an active member of the All Saints Catholic Church of Walton, KY. He was the owner/operator of Baumgartner Building Systems of Walton, KY. He was a cattle and hay farmer. He was an outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, target shoot, play cards, watch football, work with wood, and go boating. He was an avid gardener and was actively involved with the church. He is described as a great father, loving and caring husband, and a very religious man.
In addition to his wife Stephany, he is survived by his son, Gunther Baumgartner of Verona, KY, mother, Catherine Baumgartner of Verona, KY, three brothers, Joseph (Joan) Baumgartner of Walton, KY, Mike (Sheila) Baumgartner of Crittenden, KY, Paul (Jill) Baumgartner of Verona, KY, three sisters, Barb Hendren of Walton, KY, Beth (Mike) Kahmann of Union, KY and Ruth (John) Andrew of Crescent Springs, KY. He is preceded in death by his father, Albert.
A latin mass will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the All Saints Catholic Church in Walton, KY at 1:30PM. Father Matt Cushing will be officiating services. Burial will follow at the St. Patrick's Cemetery in Verona, KY. Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home of Verona, KY is handling arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the All Saints Catholic Church, Kenneth Baumgartner memorial fund, in Walton, KY.
