Lucie Catherine "Katie" Clemons

Lucie Catherine "Katie" Webb Clemons was born October 11, 1954 in Owenton, Kentucky and passed away Jan. 11, 2024 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 69.  She was the daughter of the late Jefferson Edgar and Helen Marksbury Webb.

On February 14, 1976 Katie was united in marriage to Jeffrey Wayne Clemons who preceded her in death in 2010.  She is survived by two sons, James Clemons and his fiance Danielle Taylor and Joseph Clemons and his wife Tabatha Clemons; a brother, William F. "Bill" Webb; two sisters: Helen Webb and Cyndy Smith; and two grandchildren: Jeffrey Thomas and Madalynn Jo Clemons.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Jefferson E. "Jake" Webb, and a sister, Mary Margaret "Margie" Webb Mullins.

Katie was a 1972 graduate of Williamstown High School and then went on to become a Registered Nurse after earning her diploma from Good Samaritan School of Nursing in 1976.  Katie always had a servants heart and loved serving her community in many ways.  She was an RN with Northern Kentucky Independent Health Department as well as Upjohn Health Services and Grant County Hospital.  She was also appointed to the Grant County Local Board of Health.  In addition to her career Katie was a devoted member of St. William Catholic Church. She served as a Parish Council Member and as a volunteer with the Church Fish Fry and St. Vincent DePaul.

Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family.  She dearly loved her grandchildren and often picked them up after school.  She shared many memories together listening to their favorite songs.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024 at St. William Catholic Church, 6 Church St., Williamstown, KY  41097.  A funeral mass will follow at 1:00 PM at St. William Catholic Church.
