Melody Ann Adams

August 7, 1952 — March 6, 2023

Melody Ann Rodgers Adams was born August 7, 1952 in Crittenden, Kentucky and passed away at her residence in Crittenden, Kentucky at the age of 70.  She was the daughter of the late Lawrence Mutt and Edith Harris Rodgers.

On December 1, 1972 Melody was united in marriage to Roger Allen Adams.  In addition to her husband of 50 years she is survived by her son: Christopher Allen Adams of Crescent Springs; her daughter: Megan Renee Abbott of Erlanger; and her granddaughter: Allison Jennifer Abbott of Erlanger.

She was preceded in death by her four brothers: Lyle Rodgers, Dennis Rogers, Mike Rodgers and James Rodgers; and her sister: Joy Beach.

Melody retired as a Financial Advisor for the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice having worked at the Northern Kentucky Youth Development Center in Crittenden, KY for 30 years.  She was a devoted member of the Gardnersville Baptist Church in Gardnersville.  In her free time she loved to read.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Gardnersville Baptist Church.  Visitation will also be Saturday, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, at the church.  Burial will be in the Crittenden Cemetery.
