Michael Ray Crider

Michael Ray Crider was born Sept. 1, 1951 in Harlan, Kentucky and passed away Feb. 20, 2023 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 71.  He was the son of the late Carter and Lura Large Crider.

Mike was a retired coal miner.  He was an avid UK Wildcat collector and even had a room in his home dedicated to all things UK.  He enjoyed hunting but most of all he loved spending time with his wife camping and traveling.

In 1998 Mike was united in marriage to Jane Perkins Crider.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters: Melissa Nelson and Michelle Crider; a son: Robert Gilbert; a stepdaughter: Lisa Lane; a step son: Brian Kinnett; 2 sisters: Janice Whitaker and Wanda Faye McGhee; a nephew who was like a brother: Carter Lee Turner; and many grandchildren.

Mike was preceded in death by a stepson, James Adkins; 2 sisters: Brenda Crowder and Betty McNeil; and a brother: Johnny Crider.

Memorial services will be at a later date and at the convenience of the family.
