Rhonda Lynne “Peanut” Tipton , 64, of Williamstown, KY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday February 14, 2025 at her residence. Born on July 23, 1960 in Stanton, KY, she was the daughter of the late Rayburn Denvil Tipton and Annalee Townsend Tipton.
“Peanut”, as she was affectionately known, was a dedicated homemaker, zealous cook, loving caretaker but she will be most remembered for being a passionate “Mom”, “Nanna” and “Mamaw Peanut”. One never had to worry what was on her mind; she freely expressed her feelings. The legacy she leaves will be the fact that she always stood for what she believed in and she got her greatest contentment from helping others; she would do anything for anyone, regardless of the sacrifice. She was a firm believer in the Lord and called herself a God-fearing person. Her death will leave a heartache that no one can heal but her love will leave memories that no one can steal.
She is survived by a son: Raven Lee Tipton of Williamstown, KY; two brothers, Mark Townsend of Williamstown, KY, and one “living” brother from Stanton, KY; one sister: Millie Townsend of Williamstown, KY; six grandchildren: Jacob Hunter O’Hair, Jaxson, Melody, Ava, KJ and JoJo, whom she referred to as “my babies”, along with three nieces: Chelsey, Jessica, Darlene and two cousins: Wilma and Jennifer and lastly, her fur baby, “Pepper”. She was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony James Tipton.
To honor “Peanut’s” request, there will be no former funeral service but there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Peanut’s memory to: Rhonda Tipton Memorial Service in care of Stanley Funeral Homes
