Robert "Butch" Howell

Robert “Butch” Howell of Dry Ridge, KY was born November 20, 1963 in Shreveport, LA and died Sunday May 14, 2023 in Florence, KY at the age of 59 years.

He was the son of retired Chief MSGT Franklin Delano and Gennelle Carley Howell. He was a retired Tech Sergeant of the United States Air Force, and attended the Sherman Church of Christ. He was united in marriage to his wife, Kathryn Morris Howell on Feb. 3, 2007.

Robert was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennine Osborne, and a sister, Deborah Bedwell.

Surviving is his wife, Kathryn Howell of Dry Ridge; one son, Cory Douglas Howell of Dry Ridge; two daughters, Brittany Kristin Howell and Carissa Faith Howell both of Dry Ridge; parents, Franklin and Gennelle Howell of Bellbrook, OH; 7 grandchildren, Courtney Jo and Joshua Widener, Makayla Howell, Coleton Nagy, Taylor Howell, Chevy Mitchell, and Denver Howell; and 1 great-grandchild, Dakota Lee Widener.

Funeral services will be at 12:00pm Friday, May 19, 2023 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY with burial to follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North. Visitation will also be Friday 11:00am-12:00pm at the funeral home.
