Mr. Wm. “Bill” Sebree, a Georgetown, KY, resident and formerly of Williamstown, passed away at the University of Kentucky Medical Center on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at the age of 77. He was the husband of Judy Givin Sebree.
Bill was born to the late Charles Morton Sebree and Edith White Sebree on May 27, 1943, in Williamstown, KY. He was united in marriage to Judy on March 3, 1978. At 18 yrs old, he was a heavy equipment operator for Myers Construction. He was a former owner and operator for Bill’s Standard Oil and equipment supervisor for the KY State Department of Transportation. He spent the majority of his career in the auto industry where he made lifelong friends. He retired as fleet lease manager at KASP Auto Auction. Bill was a member of the Williamstown Christian Church.
Bill is survived by five sons, Wm. Michael “Mike” (Debra) Sebree of Williamstown, KY, John M. Sebree of Columbia, MO, Dr. R. Wayne Perry of Greensburg, IN, Mike Perry of Tavares, FL, Chris A. (Tricia) Perry of Dry Ridge, KY, two daughters, Amy L. Campbell of Williamstown, KY, Sally A. Cheek of Williamstown, KY, one sister, Carol A. (Carl) Gordon of Dry Ridge, KY, thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister Janet Lawrence.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 30, 2021 at My Old Kentucky Barn, 314 S. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Memorials and contributions may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
